We had a fantastic Outdoor Learning day today with Dr Sam Harrison http://www.openground.eu where we developed ideas in the environment that will be part of our final film set (in the woods next to the school) – we are now working on final ideas to be crafted into our script….we now have lots of ideas…
A special thanks to Gordon Castle Estate for agreeing to have us for the afternoon, a really focused session from the group and some great ideas for shots….fixed camera op was Mrs Anderson the P5 teacher.
For exercise 2 this group adapted their idea once on location, we used a flip camera for the moving shot
We shot this on the beach at Kingston on Spey and tried out a GoPro for our moving shot
slight bend to the rules but we have included extra additional aerial footage to show the experiments….
The 3rd group of pupils down at the Viaduct over the river Spey, an impressive location (the bridge was built in 1883)…another fun afternoon filming!
Our second group of Primary 5’s having just completed filming for ‘Exercise 2’ down at their chosen location of Kingston Beach…ace choice and ace work with some great decisions being made to adapt their ideas after each take. Next week the Viaduct over the River Spey, more sunshine please!
